No ho ho Christmas cards in 2022

We aren’t trying to give Ebenezer Scrooge a run for his money. We’ve decided not to send Christmas cards this year because:

  1. We’re trying our hardest to be sustainable. Doing our bit for the environment is important to us.

  2. We support local. These are our chosen local charities who are doing their best to support people in our hometowns, this year.

Our chosen charities for this year

Kerry – I asked my local friends on Facebook who I should donate to this year and the Children's Bereavement Centre was an extremely popular choice. This is poignant for me. I lost my own mother when I was seven. It comforts me knowing that grieving children have easy access to these incredibly supportive people.

Helen – I'm choosing to support Young People Vs Cancer, this year. An incredible charity that helps families find the strength to face everything cancer throws at them. Supporting children with cancer must take such courage and strength and I feel like Young People Vs Cancer truly deserve this donation.

Kim – My chosen charity this year is Gravesham Sanctuary. They work tirelessly to help local homeless people who, unlike me, have nowhere to go and no-one to turn to. As we head into Christmas, I’m reminding myself that I’m in a very fortunate position; I have a nice warm home and a loving family.

Claire – This year I'm choosing to support The Lincoln Community Larder. It was one of the first foodbanks to open in the Lincoln area, and it provides emergency food to anyone who needs it. As we head into winter, foodbanks need all the help they can get.

We’re so thankful for all our clients, suppliers and supporters and we think that sending Christmas cards isn’t the best way for us to show you that. We hope you agree. Merry Christmas.
