Supporting women today and every other day.

Reflecting on the females that inspire us on International Women's Day 2022

Before we start, this is a disclaimer to say we love men. We have husbands and sons, brothers and fathers who we adore and admire.

We're a team of women working together to support each other every day. But today, we want to actively celebrate the strength of females by recognising those who inspire us, motivate us and give us that get up and go RGS attitude.

Round Governance Services was established after Managing Director Kerry Round had her son, Ellis. She wanted to work doing what she loved and craved flexibility and choice. Something the corporate world didn't readily offer at that time.

Kerry knows that as the business grows, she wants to promote this ethos and way of working. Because of this, RGS attracts a lot of females, specifically mothers, to the roles that we advertise. Kerry resolutely believes her approach to work strengthens her client offering.

She says, "I want the people who work for me to feel supported. At the moment, we are an all-women team, but that's not to say we'll continue to be. However, I think women are attracted to roles in RGS because of our' work anywhere, work any time' ethos. The traditional 9-5 working model is dead. And for a good reason. By giving my team trust, autonomy and choice, I get more from them, and so do our clients. I'll keep assessing ways in which we can continue to break the bias at RGS, and right now, flexible working is just one route we're focussing on."

Find out more about who we are and what we do, then if you decide you'd like to work with us, we'd love to hear from you.
